Rudi's has become a stable favorite for my husband and I. I am german, so I am quite demanding when it comes to german food. Rudi serves up a consistently great menu with seasonal changes/varieties. More important than the great food though, is the ambience. If you are looking for a singing, swinging, beerfest kind of time, the main dining room will thrill you, with music, singing and entertainment in true german/austrian style. If you are looking for a quiet romantic spot, make a reservation for the wine-room, which will trasport you back to a rustic and comfortable european castle experience. Since we live reasonably far from Rudi's, we don't manage to get there as often as we'd like, but even after several months away, Rudi remembers us when we walk in the door. Not only does he remember us, he remembers our names, where we like to sit and what our favorite drinks are. In the same fashion, we have had this excellent service from his waiter Juan, who has been there for at least 3 years, that we know of and who also knows exactly who we are, what we chatted about at our last visit and that we love the Pate. Rudi is the quintessential european host. He makes you feel like you are the most important customer and adds his personal touch to so many things it makes it a wonderfully relaxing and uplifting dining experience.
